Breakfast...yikes! Stale bagels, clearly left over from days before.
Front desk clerk was helpful and speedy. Room is good sized, clean, and has microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Bathroom was fine, but in both the shower and sink has the water reversed (hot is cold and vice versa). Location is a bit north of the main street shopping and eating but not too far to walk.
It appears this hotel is undergoing renovations, which is badly needed. The room was just ok but now without issues. The AC was incredibly noisy and seemed to stop working on my second night. The tub drain was clogged and backed up. The toilet was coming loose from the base at the floor. Outside my room which was located in a separate hallway, was a roll away bed folded up with full linen on it (another one was outside the room two doors down), that's not very hygienic. I had to ask someone at the front desk to skim the pool of the "tree stuff". But the water ended up being too cold to stay in. The patio furniture needed cleaning. Clearly they were not ready for summer.
As Travelodges go, this one was disappointing and not worth the rate.
Couldn't beat this room for the price. Not a 4 star hotel, obviously... But clean, quiet and friendly. We would definitely stay here again

I stayed here because I am a frequent guest of other Travelodge locations and have had pleasant experiences. I was here because I had a day pass at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge and the rate for the hotel was among the lowest in the area.
I stayed at the Travelodge, Great Barrington last weekend. It was a holiday weekend and we arrived without a reservation. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. and the price was great. Kay is a jewel. Not only did she not laugh at my horrible attempt to say hello in Hindi, she gave us a tremendous surprise at breakfast. It will have to hold me until I can get back to Gujarat. I will stay there again and I highly recommend it. Say hello to Kay for me.
