Pleasant, low-key local hill with mostly moderate terrain and a couple of terrain parks for the tricksters. Two friendly base lodges, one with an excellent small ski shop. Applejack is one of the Northeast's classic woodland cruisers, with plenty of knolls, curves and rolls. If you have a child who's worried about the lifts, go see Will at the beginner's chair. He's one of the best loaders in the world and a landmark in his own right.
Super friendly beginner mountain. Just a few difficult trails. Great for beginners and kids learning to ski. Great classes and teachers.
Not the biggest mountain but they do a very good job with it. Staff is always great and the terrain park is awesome. Beer is always good
This is a perfect mountain for beginners and young skiers. The slopes are generally quite short meaning even the most severe slopes are skiable by even novice skiers. Our kids, 9 & 11 were able to confidently ski every slope after 2 days and they loved this ski area. The rentals are very good quality with knowledgeable staff, great place to ski and we will return.
Great mountain. Not too crowded. Good mix of terrain. Not the biggest and no double blacks, but a ton of fun for the family.
