Great place if you looking to try some good crafted beers. Me and my friend Dan we're doing some Mason work in the area and stopped in at the bar. A friendly atmosphere with good company. We're going back to try the Yule fuel. See you guys soon happy holidays.
Our reception was prompt and courteous, we both had burgers
The staff must be used to full plates at the end of the meal that they would rather hurry and get their money than make sure the costumers want to come back. Next time I want a meal prepared by Chef Microwave from prepackaged frozen food, I will go to the grocery store.
My husband had a BBQ burger that was super soggy with soaked bits of cooked onion all under the patty. The onions appeared to be from a package. And the burger (like my sons) was made from a previously frozen patty.
The waitress never returned to ask us how the food was. Even the manager, who cleared the table did not bother to inquire why 3 plates (sans the boys hamburgers) had gone untouched.
My daughter had the pita pocket. It was soggy, and had large globs of melted cheese all over the outside of it and the plate. She did not eat it.
Finally seated and ordered the Bavarian Pretzel as an appetizer. It was 5 super small pretzel sticks that tasted good but hardly enough for our table of 5. Also, it was obvious that they were not made in house.
This place is over priced and disgusting. I hope I have saved you from my mistake of going.
My two sons each had a hamburger (previously frozen puck). One came with chips from a bag, the other came with previously frozen broccoli.
I’m not from the area. So I just went off reviews and and their menu. I was very pleased with the service and food. Both were very good and the food was really good an the amount of food for the price. I had their beer on tap which was a porter and it was really good if you’re into darker beers. I would strongly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good place for dinner if you’re not from the area.
I made the mistake of ordering the baked chicken. It came with an unclean baked potato that was so dry, that butter and sour cream could not help it. It had obviously been microwaved. And it had no flavor. My seasonal veggies were a medley from a freezer bag that I could have bought at the grocery store. And my chicken (that at least looked appetizing from the outside) was horribly dry with rubbery skin.
Love this place, the beers are great. Loved the pale ale and the porter. The food is spot on, the staff are friendly, this is a welcoming pub. Highly recommend this place, hope to visit again soon.
Arrived there for the first night of our trip after a local suggested it. Waited over five minutes to be acknowledged.
The meal came before long.
