Food was very good. Waitress was very nice. Not the best crab cake I had (Mountainside Cafe was MUCH better) but the brisket sandwich was great. I've had better truffle fries too but overall it was very good.
I only write reviews on things that I really love or really hate. This place I really love! I think I just ate the best breakfast that I ever had! Just simple eggs, bacon (thick sliced lean) house made sausage patties and toast that tasted home made too. The strawberry jam was definitely home made with big chunks of berries in it. Did I mention that a salad was offered? Yeah I thought that was weird with breakfast too. But wow it was good. It had a light dressing on it that was delicious (also tasted house made). I'm definitely coming back and telling everyone about this breakfast!!!
All three of us were very happy with our breakfast. The potato cake Benedict was cooked just right and the flavors went very well together. My folks enjoyed their build your own omelet-great selection of fillings- and the breakfast sides. My macchiato woke me right up, and others liked the coffee and tea selection. The real preserves on the toast was a great touch. Service was sassy, like a diner should be. Will return next time I am in the area.
