This is one of the most interesting and fantastic store in Great Barrington! Perfect not only for the birder but for gifts in general. The owner is a local who knows everyone and knows a lot about local birds. It's a little out of town, across from Big Y on Route 7, but is most definitely worth the trip.
What a great store! Owner was cheerful, helpful and loaded with information. Carried a wide variety of feeders, seeds, houses and bird baths, but I also learned about bat houses while I was there, too. An emphasis on local artisans was evident. I left the richer for having spent.
