Awesome hiking. But you need to pay to park.. And there are no facilities or trash cans.
Nice parking right at trailheads. Watchout, there are pay to park machines in the middle of the parking area and if you don't drive past it, you miss it. Signs need to be at trailheads to let you know before you walk on trail. There are some signs as you pull in the lot, but you are watching out for cars and people and easily miss the small signs. Not sure if they actually ticket, just warning everyone.
Awsome hike and the views are amazing! Not much room at the top if they are a lot of other hikers. $5 parking. Head to the mountain in the morning to avoid the crowds
The place is great: easy acces, there is some einning tables, ticket machine and information booth by the parkint area. If they added some trash bins so you coukd just toss your picnic leftovers it would be 5 stars.
The mountain trustees are often out, and are extremely friendly. Had fresh donuts for hikers, water and treats for dogs. The trail was a great little hike as well.
