The owner and the quality of the flowers are both great.
My daughter was getting married in Becket MA and we are from eastern Ma and didn't know a florist in the area. We looked at many websites and liked the Wildflowers website in that they showed photos of wedding flowers that they themselves had created instead of the typical FTD photos. I called and made an appointment to meet with the owner, Bob. He was a great listener and really heard what my daughter was looking for. He gave me lots and lots of time and continued to pull flowers from the case of lots and lots of varieties of flowers to give examples and to get my input on combinations. He gave suggestions but he also listened carefully and took careful notes on our final decisions. He gave us some great insights and also was upfront about which flowers would be most expensive, which might not hold up as well for the afternoon. A week later he met with my daughter and they tweeked the flowers to her liking. She also felt relaxed and that Bob was listening carefully to her preferences. Bob sent us an email with a detailed description of each piece that he would provide together with an individual price as well as a total. It looked very fair but I was surprised by the cost of the potted plants that we had chosen for reception centerpieces and called to ask about the price. Bob was very helpful and approachable... he broke down the cost of individual elements- plant itself, the pot, the moss, and the setup... and explained ways in which I could shave off some of the cost. He actually encouraged me to have the bridesmaids do the setup of the centerpieces, saying that they would have fun, giving an explanation about what needed to be done, and saying that it would save us the labor cost. We did do this and it worked out wonderfully. Bob was flexible open to last minute changes (we forgot one corsage, decided to order some balloons and there was possibility that one bridesmaid's flowers would have to change). He was relaxed, supportive and a wonderful resource. He arrived with the flowers at the wedding site at the time he had said he would and there were no surprises with the final cost. Most importantly, the flowers were fresh, absolutely beautiful and just what my daughter had wanted. We had so many compliments on the beautiful flowers and centerpieces. We would highly recommend Wildflowers for wedding flowers. Our experience there will be part of our very good memories of the planning process and the wedding day.
